This is the first release of an ongoing project to create a new open pollination seed line. The idea behind this cultivar is based on the traits of the 87 Aussie Thai euphoria, feelings of bliss, opening of the heart, super smooth smoke, trichomes that quickly grow and mature over the long period of time, smokeable oily leaves and stems that also have nice trichome coverage. With an effect of brightened lights, enhanced colors, tastes, more in the flow of everything around you, your brain processes at higher speeds. Similar to low dose powerful psychedelic but in its own unique feel. The pure 87 Aussie Thai lasted about 7 hrs with lingering effects felt the next day or two. It creates a certain spiritual atmosphere that is clear but trance like that starts blending worlds.

Combined with Metal Haze, C99(pineapple), Loaders 1975 Bangladesh and a vine like sativa phenotype of Lee Roy from Rare Dankness that put out small dense oily flowers.
Lee Roy is mostly Ghost OG, Triangle Kush, and Chem D. I’ve never been a fan of indica effects but I was after the best quality trichomes for maximum cannabinoid and terpene content that seemed to ooze out of the trichome and soak into plant material. I also wanted to add some different pain killing properties that combined with the 87 Aussie Thai’s great anti-inflammatory effects. This was the best I could find that complimented the flavor and allowed the Thai and Bangladesh ceiling-less highs to come through when mixing the genetics. The plants that had heavy tired effects were culled and only the best tasting, hardest hitting, female was used that had ridiculous potency and hit the level of the legendary electric sativa(NLD) experiences. This initial Lee Roy hybrid selected plant was my highest quality plant iv’e ever come across after growing hundreds of hybrids, heirlooms, and landraces. All the parental genetics came through perfectly and the indica effects it did have would get a tolerance buildup while the Thai/Bangladesh side had a reverse tolerance. It was sadly lost in a bust before I could do any BXs and only hybrids live on.

The 75 Bangladesh had the highest density number of trichomes, they were also the smallest iv’e come across. They start out headless slowly building up oils until the plant died. The Bangladesh was bred growing the plants as big as possible by starting a month before winter in Nimbin Australia and growing them through the summer and letting the plant push the last of its oils into the trichomes before it dies the next winter 13 months later. The Bangladesh has a very dreamy, caught up in positive high thoughts that takes you to this flow state and time seems to slow down as your thoughts and body speed up. This effect causes one to think they are not as effected as they really are, until doing something that needs focus. Very high frequency vibrations with very blissful feelings. Some people have audio hallucinations and connections to past flow of times. The effects of the pure 75 Bangladesh last up to 8 hrs on a well done healthy plant.

The Metal Haze is some amazing work done by Dutch Flowers. While some variation was found there is some delicious orange citrus(Thai) plants and grape (Colombian) plants that have a very nice size trichomes and the buds will fill in nice long branches. The grape spicy Colombian plants are what was selected for most out of the Metal Haze in creating this Zen Fruit cultivar.

The C99 pineapple phenotype was used to bring the flower time down and use the sweet, fruity terpene profile that combines well with other fruity and floral notes in the other genetics. I have done 11 generations of crossing and inbreeding on this hybrid chasing the best of the best traits, effects, and vigor.

So far in early testing the high is a relaxing warming Thai oriented high that gives you energy and is good for nerve pain. High quality effects lasting 4-6 hrs on the Zen Fruit.The earthy, musty, hashy, lime smelling terpenes are coming through on the only plant that was smoke tested so far. Plants are 6’-9’+ tall with great mold resistance.

This will be ongoing project tweaking and slowly selecting the best plants for another generation to eventually create a proper open pollinated cultivar selected from a high number of plants. Traits of having an old school Thai high on high quality smoking flowers will be chosen. Selections will be for high oil content in stems and leaves with sticky Thai flowers. There is less than 13% Lee Roy genetics in this Zen Fruit seed generation. All selections have been towards the Thai side while acclimatizing to the Appalachian Mountains.

Great cultivar to make high quality dry sift just by carefully trimming over a screen.
